Delete your account

Permanently delete your Tailmates account and all of your data.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, login, and account.
  • Your dogs and their longevity scores.
  • All walks, activity, goals, streaks, and points.
  • Your posts, photos, comments, and social connections.
  • Your bloodwork records, including any uploaded lab PDFs (health data).
  • The voice recordings you hosted.
  • Your town in Tailmates Town, with its Coins and finds.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes only your own account. Anyone who co-owns a dog with you keeps their own access. Voice recordings another host made with you in Voice stay with that host, with an internal identifier that has no name, email, or profile behind it. If you have an active Tailmates+ or Tailmates Silver subscription, cancel it separately in Google Play or the App Store. Some records may be retained where required by law (e.g. transaction records), and backups are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle. If you've earned money hosting and set up payouts, we pay out what's left first and keep your payout details only until it reaches your bank.

How to delete your account

Option 1, do it yourself: sign in with the email on your account, then return here (or open Settings) to delete it. We email you when it’s done.

Option 2, ask us: email privacy@tailmates.io from your account’s email address. We’ll verify and permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
