A 60-second film with music and no dialogue. A woman and her golden retriever, Maple, head out for a walk. Her phone shows Maple in Tailmates Town, where her walks earn Coins, then the live walk map. A friend and his dog join them, and the pack chats and meets up in the park. Maple's longevity score fills its ring, her bloodwork comes back lab verified, and her vet stays in the loop. Tailmates Town is in beta. Walks earn Coins and finds, and you spend them building a town with your dog.

Walk, and the Coins come to you.

Start a walk like any other. Walks of 3 minutes and 250 meters or more earn Coins, up to 240 a day, and turn up finds along the way. Finds and Coins arrive after your walk is confirmed.

Open walk mode while you're out and see your dog on the trail as you walk.

Earned, never bought.

Coins come only from walking. You can't buy, sell or cash them out, and nothing in Town is for sale. Town is free for every member with a phone that runs it.

What it runs on.

iPhone 11 and later. The first time you open Town on iPhone, it downloads its art, about 16 MB, and asks first on cellular. Android phones with 4 GB of memory or more.

Questions about Town

Do I have to play Town?
No. Town is optional. Your walks earn points and keep your streak whether you open Town or not.
Are Coins the same as points?
No. Points level you up and rank you on the boards. Coins are for Town. One walk earns both.
Why is it called beta?
Town is new and we are still building it. It's ready to play every day, and what members tell us in Tailmates Feedback shapes what comes next.
